From meticulously crafted jute shoes in Spain to leather sandals sourced from India and expertly handwoven raffia bags by a women’s cooperative in Madagascar, each piece reflects our pledge to ethical production.
In Spain, our skilled artisans take immense pride in crafting each pair of Manebí espadrilles by hand. Their meticulous approach minimizes fabric waste, aligning perfectly with our eco-friendly ethos. The iconic Manebí espadrilles are a true embodiment of Spanish artisan tradition, reflecting a heritage of craftsmanship passed down through generations. Each sole of our espadrilles is shaped from natural rubber and features the distinctive braided rope detail, woven from 100% natural jute.

Ogyre stands out among our esteemed partners as a pioneering tech startup dedicated to combating ocean pollution. Their Fishing For Litter initiative compensates local fishermen across the globe for collecting plastics and other ocean debris. These materials are then brought ashore and, through collaboration with local associations, responsibly recycled. Leveraging blockchain technology, Ogyre meticulously tracks the removal of marine waste, ensuring unparalleled transparency and accuracy.
Ogyre’s aim is to retrieve 30 million kg of marine waste by 2028. At Manebí, we’re eager to contribute to this transformative journey.

At Manebí, our shoe boxes, shopping bags, and box tape are exclusively crafted from recycled paper, minimizing our environmental footprint. We take responsible sourcing to heart, using paper from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified forests, recognized as the gold standard in sustainable wood harvesting.
But we go beyond eco friendly materials—we promote reuse over disposal. For instance, our beachwear pouches can be converted into stylish beach beauty cases or elegant clutches. Similarly, our totes come with an exclusive cotton dust bag featuring the iconic Manebí palm and logo, intended for daily wear or as a travel essential.
For our e-commerce packaging, we've chosen Movopack, whose reusable envelopes redefine sustainability: far superior to traditional cardboard, each Movopack envelope is made from recycled materials and engineered for up to 20 uses. Using a single envelope for its entire lifecycle can save 72% in energy, reduce CO2 emissions by 75%, and cut water exploitation by the same amount, vastly outperforming single-use recycled cardboard.
Each Movopack envelope can be repurposed as a branded Manebí travel pouch or returned for reuse, according to the provided instructions. Upon return, the envelopes are sanitized and inspected before embarking on their next journey. The prepaid shipping label simplifies dropping it off at any mailbox worldwide; the QR code included on the package directs you to the nearest drop-off location. We maintain an ongoing commitment to assess, reduce, and optimize our packaging materials, continually enhancing our sustainable practices.
